Dr. Abdulaziz M. AlBatli is the General Manager of Technology Enablement at the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) in Saudi Arabia. He leads national initiatives that accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies and shape the regulatory landscape for artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, immersive technologies, and cloud computing. His work focuses on fostering innovation, enabling investment, and enhancing Saudi Arabia’s competitiveness in alignment with Vision 2030.

Dr. AlBatli also plays a pivotal role in developing collaborative regulatory models, advisory groups, and experimental environments such as the Emerging Technologies Sandbox, designed to balance innovation with governance. His leadership extends to initiatives supporting local technology content, market growth, and cross-sector integration between government, industry, and investors.

He holds a PhD from the University of Leeds and is representing CST in several national committees and international forums, where he contributes to shaping policies that advance digital transformation and sustainable economic growth.
